I have a full set including good controllers and HDMI mod for travel, don't think I can convince anyone to buy a CRT, which I am definitely getting when I move out soon. It's about preservation and cost. Consoles don't live forever and neither do televisions and input types. The caps are replaced in mine, but even so even so... I might outlive it.
