It's true, I prefer the MKIV to the MKV. However, I am very grateful that Akio and Toyota decided to revive the nameplate. It's too bad they couldn't come together with Yamaha again to create a successor to the 2JZ GTE, but I understand why. The sheer cost of R&D for a new engine would make the Supra cost upwards of $100K. Not to mention, the B58 engine is probably the best and toughest I6 engine being produced right now.
