I got burnt, 500k>50k, and I was so close to buying a house lol. It's gonna be almost impossible psychologically to not buy a house when I get to 500k again.

I didn't sell. Was pretty stoic about it at the time, still am really, though it's just occurred to me how I fucked myself. Because I would've bought a house in a better location and had a much better QOL. Now I have far less security. Will still make it in the next bull run, but I will learn from this - will take profits next time.
