BCH has some interesting properties:
- low supply (21m) exactly the same as BTC
- ~1/10th the price of bitcoin, meaning most people own/can buy 10x the amount of BCH vs BTC with the same overall total supply.
- When BTC fees go up, BCH has typically seen good rises

Bitcoin cash will overtake bitcoin in adoption this year. fees under $0.01, and it is easier to support/implement bitcoin cash than it is to support/implement lightning.

Lightning may in fact be technically better, but it won't matter if it's too complex for a general user. Even cryptocurrencies in general are hard. When it comes to security software, KISS (Keep it simple, stupid) is essential.

That must be the most misinterpreted rule. It counts only if we're talking about 2 chains with same validation rules, and it's only purpose is chronological ordering of transactions - nothing else. It's what makes sure a different version of history can't supersede what's been written already and any competing versions must follow same validation rules otherwise they'd be rejected regardless of PoW.

This gives some good reason to look into BCH and it came out today
