Nice rebuttal, TV watcher. Perhaps you could lend me your insight and tell exactly why the US isn't going to be the only first world consumer base of scale, or why the troop deployments even under Obama's 'surge' weren't actually still low compared to past conflicts, or how the US isn't really disinterested in foreign trade despite its tiny import/GDP ratio, or how the US isn't in the middle of achieving energy independence, or how some nation that isn't the US is actually providing global shipping security for free.
