Famous painters won't be going at that price range. So a way to look at it is you're buying a week or several weeks of a skilled artist's time for pocket change. Pic rel is going for only $50. Not quite the level of detail I want but I love the color palette and motif. Large, too. Definitely not a get rich quick scheme, but you can't sincerely say that something like this will ever be worth less than the current purchasing power of fifty dollars. An overlooked store of value.

National romantic adjacent stuff is currently in the absolute gutter, and I think future generations will value it a lot more. The wealthy segment of a future nonpozzed generation will want this type of art for their cabins and summer homes, and they don't buy modern repros.
