I saw those indian guys on youtube making thin coins and I think there's potential.

Small coins are easy to trade and hard to contrefeit (because it's so thin, there's no way to make a plated version that's profitable) what I'm missing is a recognizable design which is what made the denarius, the franc, the thaler, the soverign and the dollar so popular in the past.

What is cringe about those coins is that they are full of cringe masonic mytholgy (see 50 francs hercules from France) or they bear rulers who helped build the world (i think) people like us stackers don't like (surveillance state, bullshit paper money, ...)

I have thought about the fish, and the alpha and omega, but would people get it? I was also thinking about quoting the well known warning in revelation about the mark and quoting the verse or something, but that's not iconic.

They are quite light indeed, right now it's diameter 20mm and 0.15mm thickness, I'm thinking of lowering the diameter a bit and trying to do 0.3mm or something, but at least I have a proof of concept, rolling gold is super easy. They are filmsy but dense, you could fold them like an alu can but they are denser than this material.
