It's not senility, it is straight up lying. He's plenty senile, don't get me wrong, but in this case they're just lying to our faces. It's honestly so demoralizing that the highest office in the country feels comfortable lying (and obviously so, like, even googling half the shit he says confirms he's lying nowadays) to our faces. Remember a few days ago when he clearly read teleprompter stage instructions and then his press secretary said no he didn't? Like, we have the video, how can you lie about what he said when we can watch it? Half the media is unwilling to call him on his lies, so they feel justified in continuing their boldfaced deceit. The lugenpresse in action, and it will have consequences soon enough.
