basically the exchanges and whales conspire to make money from margin traders. They'll pump it, getting everyone to fomo in(go long, often on margin) and then dump BTC liquidating the traders. This can be vice versa as well. We call these things "Barts" and "Inverse Barts".

Simple game theory suggests that (((exchanges))) make more money by liquidating the majority of traders. That means if majority of traders are short(like atm), then it makes sense for them to pump BTC because they'll get more BTC than by dumping it.

Coinfarm is showing 30% vs 70% for shorts.

I think it's time to go long...

How do you set up stop losses with 50x leverage and how much do you lose when it hits the stop loss? Also if it hits the stop loss do you have to still pay the fee which is quite a lot if using high leverage no?

You know after hundreds of hours of thinking about everything I came to the conclusion that it doesn't matter. Although I have to say that making a good trade on BitMex makes me feel good so I'll just do that.

Ok so I checked coinfarm and it shows roughly 75%(longs) vs 25%(shorts). I have a feeling shits gonna dump. This is the website I used: https://coinfarm.online/position/position_realtime.asp

Hola any /bitmexicans/ went long yesterday? I'm up 30% from my 10x long. Not sure if I should take a profit or let it ride. Liq is at 5.9k. Also does it cost to keep the long open?

Who /bitmexican/ here? Made like 50 bucks last 2 days from going long when btc barted. Thinking about going long now, but I want my liq to be around 5700.
