It's time to discuss startups! Wanting to start one? Have something pre-revenue? Actually making cash with employees, or self-employed, lets get things started on this lovely new board!

Has anyone been met with investors initially interested in your 'tech startup' only to realize its not a dotcom and GTFO? While I have one small investor who's funding my prototype, I have had a few others outright say "I would invest if this were an app, or website."

Is there any method to the madness? Are they simply concerned with a short term gamble for the cash? Do you think the ride will end with investors and dotcom companies who make money from adverts? Lets get the ball rolling!
