I'm a cryptofag but have really been enjoying these pgm threads. I'm ready to buy about a kg of silver (I can budget about 500 dollars or so this month give or take). Is it cool to buy a kilo of silver in bars or should I buy coins or smaller bars?

I imagine there's a small price bump for lower weights and this may largely come down to preferable... but what is your preferences then? I'd like this to be an enjoyable long term investment. I'm interested in these theories about how silver is worth much more than it seems. Well anons, I've got my shoebox for storage and a couple hundred bucks, is anyone interested in sharing their thoughts?

Well I legit like XMR. It's one of the coins I buy every disability check I cash (that's my monthly crypto allowance give or take). I'm at 20 XMR and would like to hit 40 or 50 before the bull run but I'm skeptical of that happening considering I have several coins that I actively buy.

Last year I was an early pick on ant shares and req... missed out on a lot of other moons. But I held and only sold what I put it, maybe 10k for fun stuff but the everything slow crashed and for 10 fucking months every day was worst than before. I lost 250k usd that I never had. I'm still holding. Today I wired another 9k usd of social security money I had been saving. I'll be loading up about $800 into this market every month until things are high again. Only noobs and week hands lose. Consistency wins over time. If you believe in crypto but don't trust a lot of these scam coins (which only Indians and 3rd worlders, or teens do anyway) then buy some stuff that's pretty reliable and not after a pump. I've already got my alts so I'll be looking at XMR, OMG, NEO, ETH and of course BTC. You pick yours but there are going to be people who make it big time this run and people who never understand why their shitcoins didn't make them rich even after they read rich dad poor dad and watched a Netflix documentary on banking.
