No. Before I was 25 I was working as a dishwasher/ waiter. I was tired of the poor life, so I signed up for classes. I started school when I was 26 and finished at the age of 31. I got a job a few months later as a financial analyst. Now I have a nice apartment, a better car, good small circle of friends, a dog, and a gf.

Finally finished school and got a few call backs from a couple of companies for a job offer. I'm finally about to have my first big boy job as an accountant. The companies I applied at offer hourly and the others offer salary. I've worked in shit retail job for the past 7 years, so I was only paid hourly. But I did get paid over time. Should I stick with hourly or should I go with salary?

How did you guys figure out what you wanted to do with your life? I graduated high school a year early and went straight into college. I was there for a whole year and I didn't know what the fuck I was doing. I switched majors like 3 times and I was still miserable. I finally dropped after my first year. I'm 26 now and I just want things to change. I've been working shitty jobs for a long time now and I'm just tired of it. I want to go back to school, but I'm not sure what to go for.

How well do you guys act around normal functioning people? I've worked in shitty warehouse jobs for the past 8 years and I finally somehow got a job for an office position. I'm scared that I will not be able to connect with my new coworkers and I'll end up getting let go. I've always worked with shitty druggy people, even in high school. So acting like a normal adult seems terrifying to me.


I'm also getting nervous about the jobs itself. It's just a data entry job, but I'm scared that I'll fuck up on the job and make everyone mad. At the warehouse people would fuck up all the time, but nothing would happen. I feel like if I fuck up just once, I'll get fired.


AHHHHH I don't want to go back to the warehouse life, guys. I finally found an escape and I really don't want to fuck things up.
