It's a difference if you fly into space once or twice or if you are using the "spaceport" to travel day by day.
With multiple spacecrafts multiple times per day. Like they are dreaming of "spaceports" and all that MARKETING bullshit to reel in gullible people like you.

Just think of the Concorde. It flew for years with no problem until one crashed and they found that they could not fix this problem. This is the same thing. These little stone hits are a problem you are not fixing. Same thing. One spaceship goes down like that.. because like you said... it hits the engine. The whole operation is done. I'm not investing in that.
