All of this is to protect you.
At FINRA we've got every set up and in place in order to keep you financially secure.

So when you're getting absolutely raped by institutions or you make an accidental trade and you're under PDT. You cannot sell. Well, unless you let us hold a small $25,000. That is what truly removes your risk, more money.

What certifications would be helpful to transition into a finance career?

I heard certifications are largely useless for people who already majored in finance and had professional experience in the industry. But since I don't have that background, I figured it would be useful. I'm already studying for the SIE to show basic financial knowledge, but since I don't have a sponsor, I won't be taking other FINRA cert exams.

What other certs do you think might be useful?
