Taking out debt for economic "stimulus" that didn't actually do anything to boost their GDP, so now they can't pay it back. The US is currently at nearly 130% debt to GDP because of similar policies. That's even higher than Greece's at the time of their crisis, and our bond yields are approaching the same range Greece's were when shit hit the fan for them in 2009.

Anon, you should be concerned that you're still bullish despite not understanding how the bond market works. Bonds have already crashed, that's why bond *yields* are skyrocketing. We're repeating the same formula as the Greek debt crisis, but on a much larger scale.

War is inflationary, which is why it worked against a deflationary depression. But trying that right now in the midst of stagflation would be going the hyperinflation route. Also the US has too much debt to be able to finance another world war. It's OVER.

>That means the numbers in our portfolios all go up.
The Greek stock market lost 85% of its value and then never recovered. It's permanently stuck at that level.
