I think you're just trollin', but I'll bite.
From what I remember of the Venezuala "study" (more of an analysis but semantics) their conclusion was that since the PMs still lost value, it was a waste of time. From my point of view, even though PMs lost value, they didn't lose nearly as much value as the fiat did. Like not even in the same ballpark. So I say if you're in that situation, I'd MUCH rather have PMs. Not an investment, cuz it lost value, but protected purchasing power more than just about anything else except for niche localized items that are hard to predict and harder to store. If you know what those items might be, have access, and can store them then I say go ahead, do both. Depending on the situation, maybe bullets, coffee, t.p., tampons, meds, seeds, alcohol, cigarettes, the list of possibilities is long. Skills are great too, do you know how to purify water, create and store electricity, preserve food, breed livestock, set a broken bone...
Everyone's situation is different, everyone's prep will be different, there's no one-size-fits-all for every person in every situation.
However, IMO, PMs are the closest you'll get. In most bad-times scenarios, outliers notwithstanding, PMs are going to be good to have.
Also shiny stuff with nice art good, centralized fiat bad.
