I always argued that a centralized system for paying development is stupid and only leads to issues.
With influent people like Ercicionne deplatforming people from Monero events for "antisemitism" and Justin Ehrenhofer stating that rules should be made to have less straight White males into influent roles, I don't trust centralized anything even within Monero.

Anyone should be able to ask for money to fulfill a role and people pay what they want.
