Honestly what should I do with my cash right now? I got 15k saved (I have 5k in silver and 6k in gold) in a bank deposit that pays 4%.

there are lots of really cool things you can do with money and assets. the names for things just sound complex but once you know what it is, it's really intuitive and simple

Good point. I think if I were the State and everyone suddenly started using some other currency than my own I would be very concerned. I do see crypto existing alongside cbdc's though because if everyone flocked to an alternative, it would just become regulated. in the USA at least the commerce clause gives the federal government power to do that. And if that happened then the State would still want a cbdc because the technology is just so good for them. I don't see the opposite happening though: people leaving crypto entirely for fiat. there's just so much money to be made in the business. and it's for that reason i don't see an outright crypto ban either.
