There's a couple of theories that make sense as to why this interview was made by a man that has not had a public appearance in two years.
He probably had lawyers that took two weeks to make sure the interview was kosher, giving Ryan good explanations for his tweets. Which are what he says and cannot be construed or elude towards market manipulation. He answered everything but did not give anything away, he was non combative throughout the interview.

We know the interview had to have been prepped and there's a absured amount of time spent covering his more famous tweets. You may think this is schizophrenic levels of thinking but you have to realize there's going to be a possibility of certain people losing billions, and they will not go down without a fight and will come looking for anything they can to attack him.
