Started thinking about this a few months ago. I think we all feel it, between the plandemic, the market crash, the totalitarian econ shutdowns, the reinflation of the bubble, the money printing, the PM rally, the crypto rally, the (((Great Reset))): we're all expecting something big.

It's why we showed up here, and stuck around. There's chaos coming and with chaos comes opportunity. One thing that felt strange to me is not trusting the dollar as a standard of measurement for goods and services and I still haven't found a proper substitute for it. There's so many options available to store wealth it's hard to find some sort of metric to measure it. And I think alot of us are betting on the failure of the dollar. I find myself picking dollar values I'd like to hit, like $500,000, $1MM, $5MM, etc but when I remember the long term prospects of the dollar it feels like a foolish standard of measurement.

I don't want to hold cash, I hate holding cash. It's designed to lose value, it's subject to manipulation by the market, by the government, by foreign entities, and with interest rates at 0 and money velocity at 0 there's no more tricks left to play. Which is why i think we're seeing Klauss and the Boiz making noise and telegraphing that a change is coming, because they want to replace that system and position themselves at the center of it.

But again that brings me back to the main point; I'm not interested in holding worthless fiat at all. I want goods and services sure but fiat is just liquidity between assets/goods/services, and now we have crypto that can do it faster. All that said, it's impossible to use a standard of measurement for 10-30 years from now because everything has value relative to each other and the longer I think about it I wonder if never cashing out isn't a meme after all.

So what the hell do we measure this all in? USD works today but we all know it's not going to work in the next decade
