ive noticed a trend happening on crypto related websites, the website offers a free service and a premium service, but they dont charge money for the premium service, instead what they do is create a crypto currency token (in ETH or BSC) and with a web3 wallet (like metamask) they check the users wallet balance and if they have in their posetion certain number of their tokens they are given the premium version of the webapp. Those tokens can be sold and bought on any crypto market.

Now think of a 4chan token, where if users want to have the same features of a 4chan pass, they just hold 300 4chan tokens on their browser wallet. These tokens work as capital raising tokens. The firsts to do this were crypto debit card issuers where if you had X amount of their own tokens in your wallet your card would get X benefits, but now with web3 wallets websites are catching up to this great funding option.
