People told me being the "nerd" will get me far in life but all it's gotten me is a codemonkey job.
>sit in mandatory 6 hour corporate "workshop" yesterday with ~25 people
>workshop is set by extroverted project manager chad
>it has no agenda or goal
>half the people spend the entire time talking (in a 6(!) hour workshop) and writing an incoherent train of thought about problems and opportunities onto a whiteboard/various post it notes
>say one thing about how to solve a particular problem I'm aware of
>"we're not here to discuss solutions, anon"

>everyone agrees in exuberance how productive it was

If you cannot TALK, you are lost in business.
