Considered diversifying into XRP a few weeks ago but chose not to because of total coin circulation/Ripple Labs coin holdings and also a lack of information in how XRP itself will be useful as opposed to these banks just using private chains developed by Ripple Labs

Someone bluepill me on XRP. Why is it doing so well? What am I not understanding?
