The key to being well off is simple; live within your means and invest. In other words your pulling down 4000 a month after taxes and investments but your blowing 4500 a month instead. Your only fucking yourself into a hole. Warren Buffet is a prime example; Yeah he gets a lot of attention based on his company and investments but the shocking thing to about him is he lives in the same damn house since the 1960s and doesn't blow money on needless shat. You spend every penny you make your gonna get nowhere. That's not to say be a hermit. Fuck that kinda life. But you gotta set hard limits to your fun.

Doing some rough ass calculations on RMD's and so forth on my 401k. Yeah I know such event is a long time away. But hey I'd rather have a good idea of what to expect now than wham get hit in the face with it later. So anyway assuming I let it all roll till I hit 73 then take RMD I'm looking at roughly $58,000 a year in withdrawals. Plus my monthly pension check. Unless something fucked happens my tax burden would still be the same as it is now due to still being married. (12%). So nothing to worry about on that side of it. The only ? is S.S and how that would be hit if at all. (or hell even if S.S is even still a thing at that point so it may be moot). I won't need that 58,000. Frankly everything would be covered by my pension. So I could flip round and toss it into SWPPX and let that grow even more obscenely fatter till I died.

Another day. I worked over today. Yeah I know I do "nothing" but in this case I had to work over 2hrs in order to get said "nothing" done. Works for me. Uh its not like I hate extra green or anything. Also I live maybe 15 min from the office so yeah. Aside; I wish Japan would be left alone. Think of the good things that Japan has given us. Thank of the more uh I guess laid back attitude the girls have towards the guys. Thank of the school girl outfits and hentai manga and other assorted things. Be a shame if all that went away.

Kek. To fund all the proposed salary increases for state workers (me) that was outlined in a report it'd cost the state a puny 77 million extra plus the 80 million already allocated. The state is sitting on record 1 billion+ rainy day cash pile. Also the income tax is going down a bit to starting in January. If it all passes I'm looking at 6% hike in 2024, 4% hike in 2025 plus another still undetermined amount based on the years of time I've got in. Also further 5% annual hikes taking effect after all that. Needless to say I'll be drowning in excess green. Yay me!

Another day. Another day of doing "nothing". Another day of green falling down like crack while doing said "nothing". Oh well. Least my stress level and blood pressure is always low.

Kek in some news that kinda slipped under the radar due to the other things a happening; PFE got the green light to finally snag SGEN. The deal is closed. All cash deal. PFE forked out 43 billion for it. Not shares/cash mix strictly fucking cash. Which uh is saying a lot. Before this went down SGEN was going for over 200 a share. They do cancer drugs. Which other companies are jumping into this area like crack. Another big time Pharma player did a deal today to buy some other cancer drug company so there's green to be made. (Aside; PFE stock itself is dirt cheap + forks out fat divvy as cake topper)
