It really comes off like that. Probably some tribal shit of sharing information to protect the group from danger which evolved into manipulating the information for (at least perceived) personal gain. I can't even tell if they're conscious of why they do these things or if they're just pure impulses that they follow, but I'd like to know. It's not like it requires a gigabrain to come up with a basic thesis of why one has these impulses and it only needs some self-reflection to become conscious (not necessarily meaning that one stops), but it's impossible to find out which people have done that. Perhaps I'm too much of a cynical armchair but it seems to me that normal people don't really like gaining awareness of what they're doing, and that they intentionally don't want to find out so as to be able to "truthfully" claim complete unawareness both in their own head and when confronted, which they think exempts them from any responsibility and gives them the option to deny it in some weird double layered fashion.

I immediately bridged everything back to Ethereum and never looked back to that scam.
The bridge ended up getting hacked and the whole ecosystem died a month later.

After I bought my first 100k LUNC shortly after the crash, I fucked the shit out of my girlfriend and passed out in bed with her. Kept waking up, getting out of bed and seeing that my $20 investment had grown over $1000. As I would try to sell, I'd wake up back in bed with my girl. Then run to my phone and try to sell again. Was kinda disappointed when I woke up for real but man. That was the most vivid dream I had in many years.
