Nice. My wife has been on a self-sufficiency kick lately. It helps that she didn't grow up in a first world country and understands the fragility of society.

She started sewing masks and clothing for the girls during the pandemic. Since then she's started a garden, started making her own bread, fully stocked the pantry, and encouraged me to stack precious metals and cigars (posted this the other day). We live on a large body of freshwater so in addition to our water stores, we have an endless supply of fish and freshwater (unless it gets contaminated somehow). I'm hoping everything gets back to normal and I have a lot of silver and gold to hand over to my kids someday.

Just in case, any other ideas for achieving self-sufficiency, anons?
