Alright so they are considered short gains and taxed at the end of the year with my normal income. So you're right it's taxed, but I'm not paying any extra for having lots of small transactions. I'm not paying an extra tax for trading, I'm paying exactly what I'd have to pay regardless of the number of transactions. Ergo >>27157738 is still wrong, and the taxability is irrelevant.
