In the full version of the Adam and Eve Story Chancey Thomas describes his predictions from 1967 for a couple of Astronauts who spend a year in space with no magnetic field. He speculates that they would develop all types of cancers and tumors and given enough time their DNA would literally rip apart.

In 1968 he was invited to MIT to see an experiment done on mice who lived with a diminishing magnetic field. Thomas was right about the mice becoming very ill but there was an unexpected development: The mice become extremely violent and insane. They would rape the female mice and cannabalize each other. Thomas then asserts that in a world were the magnetic field diminishes (Such as our own current world) you would see a rise in insanity and extreme violence.
