The 2020's will be the great revival of Austrian economics. For decades Austrian economists have opposed fiat and called for a return to the gold standard. However, the gold standard isn't viable due to high transportation costs, the constant need to verify authenticity during trade, and the counterparty trust required for the storage of gold.

Now, if we apply the principles of Austrian economics to Bitcoin, we find that Bitcoin is the sound money solution that the Austrian economists have been searching for. Once everyone realises this economists and philosophers such as Hoppe, Mises and Hayek will become the standard required reading material for all academic economists.
