If I wanted to dump a small portion of my income into something like 25% SPY, 25% QQQ, 25% SOXL, 25% YOLO (something like ARKK), how exactly would I do it (technically speaking) with something like TDAmeritrade? I can only buy whole shares at a time.

I wouldn't say I have a lot of money, but with my tax advantaged accounts maxed out, I'm starting to think of just going more on the safe side with my standard brokerage account. Why put expess money away in a savings account when there are (or tend to be) better returns with the market? I've gained and lost and gained and lost some more with options and I just don't have the mental stamina for it. I'd rather be thinking about other things that 'Fuck what if I sold in the morning during the dump?? I could have made another $1000 off of those puts!!'

Can the market be predicted? With enough AI algos and past information and current information, can the future of the market be determined with a fair amount of accuracy? Are all these youtubers explaining candlestick trends etc etc worth a damn?
