People are thinking small brained when they mention you can make synthetic assets of stuff like TSLA or GME stocks to trade options on. That's cool and all, but the bullish case for synths that Sushi sees is the ability to create financial markets that don't yet exist - synthetics that track things like unemployment rate, happiness index, rates of suicide, etc. These will be financial instruments that will inevitably be more accurate indicators of real world issues, and by monetizing them we create the incentive structure for greed and altruism to finally align properly.

Imagine a world where politicians are paid directly in a synthetic asset that directly tracks real world issues. Far fetched at this stage, but just getting the structure set up and people invested in these financial instruments is the stepping point for something huge.
