A strictly inferior subset of Starship's capabilities? Everything SS2 can do with a carrier plane, Starship can do without any booster. With a booster, Starship becomes capable of taking more than SS2's entire mass into orbit. With a booster and refueling, Starship could put Branson's toy rocket glider on Mars.

They're not in the same league. The lie SPCE investors tell themselves is that they aren't in the same market, but SpaceX has been explicitly promising point to point travel and tourism for years.
