Art is fucking weird though. It literally combines all the knowledge inside your head into an observable piece. Actually practicing painting/drawing/sculpting etc is necessary of course, but it is simply technique and a fraction of what goes into a piece of art.

Knowledge about history, society, mathematics etc can all be translated into captivating art if you just find the right way to express that knowledge. It will take time, but not 10 000 hours.
