I agree with you lefty raiders about this one
Social conservatism is incompatible with capitalism.
The difference is I don't care and will continue making fun of people who buy funko pops and will also continue supporting capitalism

Probably already got it and lived desu, was in Seattle for a while, a week and a half later developed a flu like viral illness, had it tested for influenza, wasn't it.
It felt like a rough flu with more respiratory symptoms. You'll probably be fine if you're young

Any of you fuckers have recs for a good long term investment platform?
I want to automatically throw money in it every week and not think about it, and to make sure at least some of my investments are safe from my terrible options decisions.
No IRA's, I don't plan on living past 50.

I think many of us have that feeling, the doomsayers aren't in short supply, yet the market still persists.
There's no simple answer, we're dealing with an incredibly complex system. anyone who claims to fully understand it is lying.
The best you can do is to know the rules of the game, and to hedge your bets accordingly.
There are no gurus, there is no model, the winners will claim their model was superior because it won, and then ignore the fact that they lost 100x before. The doomsayer who predicted the last recession's true value becomes apparent when you compare him to the doomsayer's who every day will say they have the answer, and they will be wrong that day, but some day they will be right. The truth is that they never understood it, it was beyond their control and understanding. They got lucky.
It really is that complicated. So, hedge your bets, and assume growth is a thing that exists, you will be wrong sometimes, you will be right sometimes. That's not to say all methods are worthless, they aren't. But you have to temper your expectations. There is no golden ticket.
sorry for the ramble post I'm a bit drunk/
