When you buy your job with them, your 10,000 tokens aren't burned - they are set aside and returned to you should you fail to contribute. Tokens are only burned when they are bought back by Blackmoon.

The only thing giving the tokens value is buying a job with them to receive your tiny dividends or the buy back scheme from their profits.
