Tell her you want things to change. Take charge and act like you would with a misbehaving pet. Be critical. Refuse to walk on eggshells or talk in a servile/appeasing manner. Be yourself and if it "makes things worse" tell her to go sulk in a corner. You obviously don't stand to lose anything worth crying over. Do you want to throw your whole and entire life away appeasing this womanchild? Can you imagine yourself doing this year in year out, forever?

Is taking the CPA, but not practicing accounting beneficial? I'm looking at becoming a CFO as future outlook.
