I just got my first credit card in the mail and had a few questions for /biz/. I cannot find straight forward answers online so I am counting on yall.
Ok. Since a cash advance costs money can I just buy shit from wally world then return for cash and avoid fees from credit card? Also would these (returned) charges still count to cash back?
Since I am a server I was planning on funneling higher cash tickets through my own credit card so I can increase cash back. Friend of mine stated that some restaurants are charges 1-3% on credit so if this is true I can't do it all the time nor let my employer find out.
Anybody have any s!ck knawledge for a me?
Also other little tricks/scam stories would be interesting.
Also on unrelatedish note, the credit card I got was not the best I should of applied for, Discovery Student with $1000 credit line. I have a 690 credit score, any recommendations for a better card?
