The black population in the US provides tremendous economic value via modern slavery in the prison system. Most of Wal-Mart's produce comes from prison farms, for instance. Without artificial constraints imposed by punitive policing and the school-to-prison pipeline, that value add would be much greater.
As a white man, I am modern nobility. However, my stock and peerage comes with a burden of responsibility: I am obliged to free my fellow man toiling in bondage. Not only will this labor of emancipation enrich the spirit, but it will also bolster trade and commerce.
