Starting a general ASX thread, along with a quick question.

Superfunds allow you to pool your money into some conglomerate, and then with ease, you can switch whatever money you have in there between different asset classes - bonds, realestate, cash holdings, foreign markets, etc, etc.

This is quite convenient because you don't have to individually research companies, and can sort of move your money around at a higher level with ease - not having to worry about declaring trades, capital gains, etc, etc.

Is there anything like this but not a superfund, and instead some sort of a personal investment fund (that you can cash out whenever you please unlike super)?

I know trusts exist, but I was under the impression you sort of just put your money in there and wait, right? You can't move it around from sector to sector, or asset class to asset class, as you see fit - it's more of a long-term holding for ridiculous amounts of wealth.

I know managed funds also exist, but they seem to just be listed on the ASX and traded like traditional shares, right? Meaning, you can move your money but you're still having to make the trades, and are then responsible for the tax/auditing overhead. And, if you're going through that mess you could just throw down on some indexed funds and call it a day.

Surely there's a service where you can throw your money into it, they take a small cut of course, but you're free to just log into some web interface (or mobile app) and move your portfolio around as you see fit - or if you're lazy just setup some default "growth" portfolio the company deems fit?

Things look OKAY in Australia. China is still buying our iron ore, in fact they're starting to buy more, more jobs are popping up, looks like my state is coming out of its mini four year recession.

Maybe I'll fuck off the S&P500 and go the ASX200, seems like our big players have no competition and are quite stable.

Why are you so sure everything is fucked though, just curious?
