Most of them work in finance, have advanced certifications, and have literally dedicated a significant portion of their lives to understanding this shit inside and out. You simply cannot be in that position and be “confused” about what a split divvy does, especially when (a) TSLA just did one a few years back and (b) literally Investopedia has a breakdown and it takes 10 seconds of typing “what is a stock split dividend” into your browser’s search bar to find. This alone tells me something will happen that nobody wants to admit, and it’s not good for most of the financial world
