OK guys, now that we are not in ADHD land, let's talk about strategy:

Holding stocks is the same as buying them every day. If you wouldn't buy it, don't hold it. On the flipside, if it went down, but you know it has a ton of potential and would buy the dip, just keep on holding it. This prevents the "buy high sell low" effect.

90% of the people here think that the as long as they don't go below cost basis, they are OK. This is BS. The cost basis doesn't mean anything. The avg buy price doesn't mean anything. Lost potential profits are lost profits. Opportunity cost is cost.
Looking at cost basis is only good for reevaluating past strategies.

Bao, right now, feels a lot like discovering ETH or LINK very early on. Which, you'll remember, happened right here on this very board.

People are still vastly underestimating the coming explosion of DeFi alts. The next alt season is a little while away, still, and it will be driven by generation 1.5 DeFi coins. We had some hype with generation 1.0 last year. This time around we have a stronger sense of what works and what matters.

I think this is going to do to cryptocurrency what smart contracts did, but potentially exponentially. I say that because DeFi has an immediate use case, whereas smart contracts are still fairly niche. The average idiot can grasp DeFi. More importantly, the average tech reader can profit from DeFi.

Anyway, if Bao delivers, and I think it will, its marketcap is headed straight into SUSHI, SNX tier territory and beyond. Synthetic assets for top DEXES like SUSHI and UNI is a truly genius idea right now. CEXES are going to be a relic of the past.

Yes, there are risks. But where there are risks, there are _______.

If you know, you know.

Congrats, brother. I just proposed to my gf of 6 (almost 7) years last week. It's an exciting time.

I ended up spending $4K (CAD) on a proper diamond ring because I didn't like the idea of buying a fake "diamond" made in a lab. I got something mined in Africa because I've spent my entire life on 4chan and that seemed about right.

The whole jewelry jew is a big scam - I've done my research. I even made a couple of threads on here a little while ago too. I bought something from a decently high end store because they have a lifetime arrangement where if you ever trade something in, they will give you 100% of the value of your original purchase and interest.

So if 10 years from now my girl and I decide to trade her engagement ring in for some fancy watch, we could (theoretically) get 100% of the money back and end up with something that sells for more than we bought it for (e.g. a nice Rolex on the grey market). I would imagine the likelihood of my woman (or any woman) parting ways with her engagement ring is 0% but still, it's a nice thought to have in the background.

What do you want to know? I'm not an expert but I did autistically research all of this recently.
