However, from what I have researched, your uptime doesn't affect your chances; once your ODN has 100 confirmations, it is on equal footing with all other ODN stacks that are staking, which seems fair, in my opinion, and more likely to cause more people to adopt ODN and stake.

You're getting more ODN because, unlike everyone, you're staking 24/7. When a wallet stops staking, those missed staking rewards have to go somewhere.
