every "eth killer" does the same thing after they "launch"

there was neo, eos, trx, etc.
they were all the rage, climbing up CMC to new all time highs, until they actually launched.
did anybody even use them for anything ever?

it has a reputation for colluding with exchanges.
the ram hoarding has paralyzed it's development.
DPOS isn't useless, but shouldn't be taken too seriously. It should only be used on projects with a small scope, where users all have the same goals.
ETH can do DPOS sidechains now. So why support scumbags that raised billions on ether's back and dumped on them?
All their double crossing and back stabbing did was drag down the reputation of alts across the board.
And BTW, only a fool would trust Dan Larimer. He ditched bitshares, he ditched steemit and then he ditched EOS. He's a deadbeat dev.

EOS is corrupted by whales and exchanges.
DPOS isn't a bad structure for something involving a shared goal, like a gaming platform. But it's absolute trash for anything macroeconomic.

Took me a while to get it, EOS is more like a dapp club than a trustless network.
You have to trust the whales and exchanges to elect leaders that will run the business in your interest.
The interests of whales and exchanges often counter the interest of your average user. They definitely conflict with my interests.

If you're gonna use dpos, it should be used modestly, in small peer groups. It's not the macroeconomic force that ethereum or bitcoin is.
It could be great for like a modding community that wants to build an opensource game or even a digital labor union or a ride sharing dapp. But it's bad for raw speculation. That's why you see RAM hording, crippling developers. Because most users would rather have $ than useful dapps.
