I'm a low level government employee and it's the fucking best. So much bureaucracy and bullshit means that I spend more time answering emails and attending meetings and almost never work. For all the insane oversight and procedures no one actually comes and checks on me so I usually show up hours late everyday and still leave 30 minutes early. I get every single holiday imaginable, I have really good health insurance and benefits package. I get paid more than is reasonable.
Plus every paycheck feels like I'm taking back all the money I paid in taxes in the past.
