I mean, I have, anon. Deep dives, weeks on end. Digging through the bowels of WEF agendas and IMF press releases and INATBA founders and the boards they serve on. I've dug deep enough to hit bedrock, to be sure-- I mean really sure-- that XRP will be "the standard", and will be priced as the first new asset class in living memory would. But somehow for all my autistic pattern seeking, I outright missed the idea that they could/would fork the chain for the reasons you've mentioned. Now all my money is in XRP, I have one shot to get this right, and I am uneasy. Deeply, autistically uneasy.
