I used to have awful migraine headaches and trouble managing my weight before adjusting my diet. My doctor, who prescribed the diet, gave me peer-reviewed studies and monitors my health regularly. Before this, I actually did follow the Tim Ferris bro science "dietary cholesterol doesn't matter" meme and ate TONS of beef and cheese. Admittedly I gained some muscle mass but other issues came with it. I think the old adage "you are what you eat" holds true.
