I had a girl tell me something like that when I was chasing after some russian girl, only later in life did I realize she was both right and she was into me. Sadly i´ve been so blackpilled these past few years I´ve gotten myself into a mental block interacting with regular people, maybe if 2024 keeps going like it has been so far things will change in a near future.
