Vulcan has I think 27 million Atlas shares and that's what this is calculated on so it inevitably goes up as Atlas does.
They also have a 3% royalty on Atlas and Vulcan also has some gold and copper properties but those are a bit irrelevant.
If and when there's a buyout, Vulcan is going to be sitting on an absolute assload of cash, which they will almost definitely pay out as a divvy because it makes no sense for an explorer to suddenly be sitting on that much cash.

Someone did some math on the ceo.ca and I think this is conservative as fuck and still sounds amazing.
>Industry standard in a mineral buyout is 15% of the value of the mineral in the ground. At $76 pps that is about 5 to 8% that would be a steal
>I believe $1 of salt is worth 20 cents of Vul so this should be $15

So that guy calculated the buyout at 5% of 80 bil and I think 1/3rd of the usual buyout is pretty damn conservative.
But we can say that this the lowest possible estimate.
Since Atlas has a resource anywhere between 80-160 bil. If we went the most optimistic and highest numbers of 15% of 160 billion, that would be a 24 bil buyout and that's just a retarded number because it would be 86x the current market cap.

If we go with 50% of usual buyout which would be 8% of 80 bil, it still comes down to 6.8 bil buyout which is 24x from here and would put Atlas at $81.6
That would put vulcan at $16.3 and that's 41x from here because their Salt shares would be worth 2.2 billion and that's quite a bit of cash for an explorer to be sitting on.
They could buy whatever the fuck they wanted, but most likely they'd just pay it out as a special divvy.
And that's the best part about this.
It doesn't matter how anyone feels about Vulcan, because they will be sitting on a very real pile of cash which will almost inevitably be paid out, so this will go up with 100% certainty.
There's no scenario where this doesn't go absolutely crazy.
