decentralized oracle is a good idea. the biggest problem is that ETH as a platform is utter trash and will surely be replaced, taking erc-20 garbage along with it. theres also no real technical reason for chainlink token to increase in value, and the details of its use in the whitepaper are very vague (pic related). there is no reason to use chainlink tokens for this application instead of ETH itself. surely someone will create software that performs the same function, but is not joined at the hip to ETH and can be used for any smart contract platform and uses a payment method that doesn't involve arbitrary tokens
