i imagine half the point of doing it is to have a mobile place to sleep, to travel around. i always thought i would travel a lot when i got my driver's license but turns out figuring out random destinations are harder than you'd think, especially if you have nobody to share the experience with. i think there's a reason people settle down and only travel for vacations, you'd have to be a special type of man to just drift in the world. to overcome the emptiness and get something out of it. having a mobile home while being tied down to a job at a specific location probably gives a bad feeling.

that part about only doing it for a year and save money sounds decent though. i would need a computer desk and comfortable chair to pull it off myself. and much, much, much warmer weather than where i'm currently at.
